We recorded over  90% of the sessions. Those not to be recorded will be noted in the description.   NAPD did not apply for CLE or CEU for this event and is not able to provide certificates of attendance.   This allows us to keep this amazing low price.

How At-Risk Youth are Misunderstood by the Criminal System and Society

Feedback form is now closed.
The Criminal System sees young people as binary---on the right path or the wrong one. Once they are labeled as being on the "wrong" path, the criminal system, the school system, and society imposes additional pressures on those young people that increases the risk of criminal behavior. These pressures effect young peoples' self image and sense of agency. As a person who was the object of the criminal system as a child and adult, and as a current student of restorative justice, DeCedrick will discuss the experience and implications of these forces.

DeCedrick will be participating by zoom from Stateville Correctional Facility.
