This presentation discusses alternative sexual practices and identites, including BDSM (bondage, discipline, sadism, masochism) and non-monogamy, relevant research, and expert witness tips on how to address this subject in court.

Jill Weinberg

Sociologist, Expert Witness, Tufts University

Professor Weinberg is an assistant professor of sociology at Tufts University. Her research examines the norms of consent in the BDSM community, which stands for bondage and discipline; dominance and submission; and sadism and masochism, as well as consent norms of non-monogamy.
