It is increasingly urgent to increase the number of rural public defense providers. The presenters will highlight successful legal and medical models for rural recruitment and offer strategies for increasing the diversity of rural defense practitioners. They will also demonstrate how ArcGIS mapping can pinpoint innovative solutions to the rural lawyer shortage.
