For mitigation specialists, private practice can be a great gig: you can choose your cases, you have lots of flexibility, the money can be better than working in-house, and you can collect a lot of frequent-flier miles. But there's lot of challenges to navigate: finding business, weathering cash-flow problems, maintaining the quality of your work and your reputation, and getting paid. If you're thinking about private practice, this session will help you decide whether to take the leap and to prepare for it. If you're in private practice, this session will offer tools to address the challenges we all face.
